About the Recipe

A delicious addition to tacos, salads, sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion (white or red)

  • white vinegar

  • water

  • Sugar, salt, spices

Preparation

  • Cut the onion into thin half moons

  • Boil enough water to cover the onions.

  • Drop the onions in for 15 seconds the drain and add to jar

  • Fill the jar half with white vinegar and half with water

  • Add a heaping pinch of sugar. Add a smaller pinch of salt and whatever spice combinations you prefer.

  • Seal the jar and store in the fridge up to one month
