Milk and Honey Corn Bread

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup corn flour

  • ¾ cup unbleached, all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup cornmeal

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup neutral oil

  • ½ cup honey

  • 2 egg

  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease an 8-inch square pan.

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flours, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Combine the oil and honey. Whisk in the eggs and milk. Fold gently to combine.

  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a tester inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached. 

  • Serve and enjoy!
