About the Recipe

Enjoy plain or thrown into a salad, yogurt bowl, or smash onto toasted bread with ricotta or cream cheese, honey, and fresh herbs like basil, thyme, and mint.


  • 1 qt. Strawberries

  • 1 Cup White Balsamic Vinegar

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1 tsp. Peppercorns

  • 1 tbsp. Sugar


  1. Slice strawberries and fill jar, then half with white balsamic, half water

  2. Add a pinch of salt, sugar, and peppercorns

  3. Let sit for two hours in the fridge and enjoy
