About the Recipe

A delicious and healthy alternative to mashed potatoes.


  • 8 kohlrabi bulbs

  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

  • 2 tbsp butter


  1. Peel and quarter kohlrabi. Cook in boiling salted water until soft, about 30 minutes; drain. Puree with heavy cream, butter, salt and pepper

  2. Use a food processor or blender to puree these veggies-they're too fibrous for a potato masher.
