The Give Hunger the Boot (GHTB) fundraising campaign for Comfort Food Community kicks off on
Saturday, May 14th, 2022 with a goal to raise $30,000 over the course of 4 weeks.
Give Hunger the Boot is one of the most cherished annual traditions at CFC.
It is not only an opportunity to raise essential funds for our regional programs, but also a time to
raise awareness around rural hunger and food insecurity.
Give Hunger the Boot is a campaign with ‘community’ at the heart of its mission.
It connects friends, neighbors, and local businesses in support and celebration of
the mission at Comfort Food Community.
Together, we have the ability to make an impact on the future of our regional food system.

Comfort Food Community is teaming up with Argyle Brewing Company in Greenwich to host our first-ever 'Boots & Brews' fundraising event!

GHTB Boots & Jars
Throughout the month-long campaign, you may notice firemen boots and glass jars at local businesses throughout Greenwich. These will serve as collection sites for individuals to donate to our cause – any amount counts!

Community Coin Drop
Our annual Community Coin Drop will take place on Saturday, June 4th from 9AM-3:30PM.
CFC staff and volunteers will be posted up on Main Street (in front of the YMCA) collecting
donations from drivers passing through downtown Greenwich.
Last year, CFC's Coin Drop raised a record-breaking $7,000 - a little change goes a long way!
